There are two main types:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notice of Urban Planning Operation to be Licensed (appraisal phase)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Notice of Approved Urban Planning Operation (execution phase)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Notice of Urban Planning Operation to be Licensed<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This must be placed after the request for a licence or prior communication has been submitted to the City Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Objective:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To inform the public that an application is being analysed;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>To ensure transparency and allow for possible disputes;<\/li>\n<li>fulfil the requirements of the Legal Regime for Urbanisation and Building (RJUE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mandatory content:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Name of applicant (owner or developer);<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Process number and date of submission;<\/li>\n<li>Brief description of the work (new construction, extension, alteration, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Indication that the application is being considered by the City Council;<\/li>\n<li>Reference to the right to public consultation (if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deadline for submission:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up to 10 days after submission of the application and must remain in place until the council&#8217;s final decision.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Notice of Approved Urban Planning Operation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be displayed after approval of the licence or prior communication, before the start of the works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Objective:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To inform the neighbourhood and the authorities that the work has been authorised;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>To ensure compliance with legislation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoid penalties and inspections for lack of information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mandatory content:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Name of the applicant and the technician responsible for the work;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Process number and date of approval;<\/li>\n<li>Type of work approved (new construction, extension, alteration, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Estimated start and completion date of the work;<\/li>\n<li>Indication of the supervisory body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deadline for posting:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must be placed within 10 days of approval and remain until the work is completed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum dimensions of the notice:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">0.8m x 1.2m for conventional urban planning operations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>0.4m x 0.6m for flats adjoining roads or public spaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Need help? <a href=\"https:\/\/mjarc.com\/en\/contacts\/\">Contact our team at MJARC!<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt; color: #808080;\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> You can consult and confirm all legal issues on the government websites mentioned above.
