It is within this context that the Biophilia Summit 2026<\/strong> takes place on September 24th<\/strong>\u2014an international conference organized by Living Future Europe and the Biophilic Society. Held online in English, the event brings together architects, designers, researchers, developers, manufacturers, artists, and policymakers from around the globe.<\/p>\n

In its fourth edition, the summit addresses a particularly crucial question: how can we transform biophilia into a concrete, measurable practice embedded directly within our design process?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Regenerating<\/strong> proposes shifting from simply reducing negative impacts toward an architecture capable of restoring ecological relationships. Biodiversity, circularity, climate resilience, and living-system-oriented design emerge as core components of a single unified approach.<\/p>\n

When Biophilia Moves Beyond Decoration<\/h2>\n

One of the key takeaways from this edition is the transition of biophilia from a set of decorative principles into a broader framework for design intervention.<\/p>\n

Designing with nature means more than adding indoor gardens, green roofs, or scenic views. It means integrating light, ventilation, water, materials, topography, and natural cycles into the very first decisions of a project.<\/p>\n
