A residential building integrated into the city<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Located close to Coimbra\u2019s city centre, this multifamily residential building establishes a calm relationship with its urban surroundings. Arranged over three floors and comprising nine apartments, the development balances residential density, privacy and spatial quality within a carefully scaled volume.<\/p>\n

Natural light organised around a courtyard<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The building\u2019s layout responds to the specific conditions of the site: it opens towards the south, maximising natural light, while the construction to the north completes the existing party wall and restores continuity to the urban frontage. At its centre, a courtyard brings natural light and ventilation into the communal circulation areas, transforming these transitional spaces into a meaningful extension of the residential experience.<\/p>\n

Landscaped terraces and shared green spaces<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Each apartment benefits from a landscaped terrace, conceived as an extension of the interior and a private place of connection with the outdoors. At a collective level, a generous green area provides a space for gathering and retreat, strengthening the presence of nature in residents\u2019 daily lives.<\/p>\n

Passive strategies for lasting comfort<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Solar orientation, natural light and ventilation, together with the integration of passive energy-efficiency strategies, form part of a holistic approach to comfort.
