Dario Fo and Franca Rame – Tribute MJARC Architects

A Tribute to our dear friends Dario Fo and Franca Rame

Our architecture office this week was make a tribute to our dear friends Dario Fo and Franca Rame.

Dario Fo received the Nobel Prize for Literature and dedicated part of the prize to his wife Franca Rame. On these two artists we must highlight the great artistic journey that goes from painting, music, set design, to theater, political activist. From very early they marked the contemporary art with our humanitarian aspect. Their names are linked to big names in art such as José Saramago or even Picasso.
Maria João Andrade and Ricardo Cordeiro, founders of the architecture office MJARC Architects, had the happiness to know these two artists in their first visit to Portugal where, from then on, they had a long friendship with one of the highest exponents of Italian culture.

In an interview with Architect Maria João Andrade, she mentioned that pleasure, to share some moments with Fo and Rame because all their culture, critical spirit, humility and vision marked his artistic training.
