Multifamily Housing

This project is located in the municipality of Viseu. It is a subdivision in a land without vegetation and we intend to return native vegetation in order to provide the building with green spaces for decompression and to return the vegetation that was once removed to the site.

In this sense, the building is developed in Horizontal plans following the green massif that will surround it, establishing a strong relationship with the interior spaces.

The Multifamily housing building aims to respect the principles of “green construction” as it believes that it will contribute to generating a more vital community, healthier indoor and outdoor spaces and stronger relationships with the natural environment in which it is inserted. This commitment started in the preliminary design phase and is committed to being a continuous process throughout the useful life of this building. We are certain that these principles have resulted in a lower impact, promoting a sustainable and, ultimately, regenerative built environment, given that the materials and proposed solutions will be premised on being recycled or reusable. On the other hand, there is also a great concern in the use of renewable energies, such as photovoltaic solar energy combined with the reuse of rainwater for watering gardens.

We believe that climate change deserves special consideration because buildings and land use are responsible for a large part of greenhouse gas emissions.
